Iron Deficiency In Aquaponics

How do you know if your plants are showing an Iron Deficiency? Some deficiencies are hard to figure out, but a few of them are quite easy, and Iron is one of them. We are going to show you not just the short description, but also what it looks like on live plants.

• Young growth or the tops of plants are first affected.
• Yellowing between the leaf veins.

In the above picture, in and aquaponics system you can see the top of the plant is yellowing the the bottom still looks nice and green.

In the above picture, it is still an iron deficiency. These are strawberries and one thing you have to know, is that they use lots of iron. This picture was from a customers aquaponics system in Florida, and is what he sent us to help him figure out his issues.
