Product Description
Iron Chelate EDDHA 6% – Premium Soil Amendment for Optimal Plant Health
Enhance the vitality and productivity of your soil-grown plants and trees with Iron Chelate EDDHA, a scientifically formulated solution designed to combat iron deficiency and promote robust growth in even the most challenging soil conditions. Ideal for agricultural, horticultural, and gardening applications, this advanced chelate delivers highly bio-available iron to plants, ensuring rapid recovery from chlorosis (yellowing leaves) and sustained nutrient uptake for thriving crops, orchards, and ornamental landscapes.
Key Benefits:
- Rapid Correction of Iron Deficiency: Addresses iron chlorosis swiftly, restoring lush green foliage and reversing stunted growth caused by insufficient iron availability.
- Superior Stability in High pH Soils: Uniquely effective in alkaline soils (pH 3–11), where traditional iron supplements fail, thanks to the EDDHA chelating agent’s ability to protect iron from precipitation.
- Long-Lasting Results: Features a dual-isomer formula (ortho-ortho and ortho-para) for extended stability, providing a slow-release iron supply to plants for up to 12 months.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for a wide range of crops, including citrus, grapes, tomatoes, roses, palms, and deciduous trees. Perfect for both large-scale farming and residential gardens.
- Easy to Use: Water-soluble granules or powder integrate seamlessly into irrigation systems, fertigation, or soil drenches, ensuring uniform distribution and efficient absorption.
How It Works:
Iron Chelate EDDHA binds iron in a soluble form, preventing soil interactions that render the nutrient inaccessible. This ensures iron remains readily absorbable by plant roots, even in calcareous or alkaline soils as well as acidic soils. Once absorbed, it supports critical physiological processes, including chlorophyll synthesis and enzyme activation, fostering vigorous growth, improved yields, and enhanced stress resistance.
Application Recommendations:
To apply as a soil drench, simply add 2-4 tablespoons of the powder per gallon of water. Mix well and then pour it under the tree or shrub from the drip line to the trunk. Do this slowly to avoid runoff of the liquid. We recommend that you break up the dirt at the top of the ground 1 to 2 inches deep so that the iron mix will soak into the ground. Repeat this watering process every three weeks, even in fall and winter if the ground is not frozen. Trees still uptake minerals while they appear to be dormant and will do better in the spring if this is done. It is recommended that you do not spill the liquid or powder on a surface such and wood decking or concrete, as it will stain the surface.
